  • What is The Valley Basketball’s Vision?

    • Our vision is to create an alternative to the current travel ball model; where winning is prioritized over quality instruction and player development. Our focus is growth and development, while building component basketball players who will have success at the HS level. We will build the most competitive teams we can; but the focus is not going to be winning meaningless travel ball tournaments by sitting in a 2-3 zone and running plays for the best player on the team. We want to teach players HOW TO PLAY, not PLAYS. However, I believe if we can grow the basketball IQ of all the players in our program; success will be a natural by-product and allow our local teams to have success against the rest of the state
